Malta Polo Club Summer Camp

During the month of July and August the Malta Polo Academy (www.maltapolo.com) have put together a summercamp for beginners.

During the 8 week course the students covered rules, regulations,4 basic polo shots and a match. Amongst the students we had a 12 year old called“Miles” who proved himself well during the match at the end of thecamp.

Some of the Students are now able enough to join the Malta Poloclub, in club chukkas and eventually matches that the club organises throughoutthe season.

The Malta Polo academy was set up purposely to promote andcreate awareness, both locally and abroad, of polo in Malta.   Theacademy also caters for the player to take individual private lessons or in a group.

Polo in Malta is played mostly from October to June howeverwith the opening of the academy we are playing polo in Malta 365 days a year.
